One can only hope that proper twitter-friendly keyboard devices become standard equipment for new-model steering wheels

21:15...doctors realize the trauma is related to outdated drivers and conflicting startup programs in victim's brain apparently caused by the PC that victim installed in his car which now resides in his skull
21:20...staff reboots victim's brain, initially encounters "blue screen of death." Victim given last rites.
22:07...after 12 reboots, doctors finally successful in putting victim in "safe mode." Victim will need to relearn all basic functions before XP can be reinstalled in brain.

If you are going to run a pc you should at least connect it to the ECM of the car to control performance, timing advance. injector pulse and stuff. get the full use out of it in the car.
if not just buy one of those acer mini computers and store it under the seat. We have one so when the wife takes pictures she can download, view, enhance and print pictures if she wants.
if you go all out install a 42inch plasma in the back window like they do in japan and connect it.LOL

that would be awesome to have a computer in your vehicle esp if your always on a go and you need it for your job. but I agree with the rest of the members, I think its just not necessary in this point in time.

3K carputer build in-progress now as I speak. 3 video cameras, Video traffic overlay. Internet, HD radio, and what ever else I can come up with. Was thinking about tying the power steering system. Think DARPA!
