HELP!! Standard Subwoofer Install (Bazooka tube)?

Ok, I haven't seen a thread on this yet. Has anyone installed a subwoofer (I type that instead of sub because the forum search is only 4 characters or more)

I've got a Bazooka bass tube with a built in Amplifer that draws very little current. I have the passion with the standard radio, so I think I've got enough available amps.

My thought was installing it vertically - standing on end in the back. That way I don't sacrifice a lot of space for it.

Can anybody offer any suggestions???? Where is the battery? Best way to connect to it? Does the factory radio have pre-amp outputs? If not where is the best place to tie into the left and right speaker wires so I can use the High-Input on the amp.

Great idea- let us know how it goes. The battery is under the passenger foot area.

Since the speaker wires don't run to the "rear", you'll most likely have to run the pairs under the carpet to behind the radio...

I'll be doing the same thing when I eventually get my car. I'll be laying it horizontally since I couldn't care less about boot space. Besides, you'll find it sounds a WHOLE LOT better that way...
