Push the original socket out of the hole, get a 3/4" grommet to fill the hole it leaves. Take out the stereo and drill a 3/4" hole in the other side so it exits where you want it to. Push the aux socket into the new hole. Replace the stereo.
How hard is it to pull out the radio? I pulled out the front panel. That was very easy.
