I'm louder than you are!

System so far...

Head Unit: Kenwood dnx5120
Amps: Two Elemental Designs NINe.1 900W x 1 @ 2 Ohm
Subs: Two 15" Elemental Designs
16Kv.2 D2's

The box was fabricated entirely out of 3/8" thick acrylic.

Now it's time to start working on upgrading the sound up front.

Robert Basil

Acrylic box before the install.

With the subs and amps installed in the Smart.

I'm glad you don't live near me.

I don't turn it up anywhere near home. That's just asking for someone to break into my garage and start stealing stuff. I also have a Scion xB with Six 15's in it.

You probably wouldn't like my sound system. It is capable of putting out more volume than I can tolerate while sitting in the vehicle. But, I don't have any subs. I like the full spectrum, realistic sound. My JBLs handle the low end to my satisfaction.
JBL 660 GTi installation
Although, I wish the installers would've bridged my amp, and I don't know how to do it. I'm only using half of the 600 watts available.

BTW, not everyone lives in quiet residential areas. I don't see the point in massive low frequency exaggeration.

I like any system that sounds good.

You shouldn't "assume" that I turn it up just anywhere. You know what happens when you assume something right?

I only use the system at carshows. Everywhere else you would not even hear it sitting next to me at a stop light. That is what external bass control knobs are for. I'm almost 43 years old, I'm not into blasting my eardrums while driving down the road (not that there is anything wrong with it).

As I am sure not everyone see's a point in purchasing an 8ft long car that can only carry 2 people. But that didn't stop you from buying your Smart now did it? Different opinions and ideas are what make us human.

You are reading my mind. Just trying to find a way to do it so it does not look like crap. Working on creating LED's inside of the sub wiring so that the LED's light up each time the bass hits.
