I'm familiar with Audison amps. They do sound good and have some serious power, but I just don't feel they are worth the cost.

I'd really like to see some photos. From your post above you are listing over $10,000 worth of Audio equipment in your smart. Not saying I don't believe you, just would like to see it.

I bought them because they came highly recomended by the guy that installed my speakers.His name is Ernie at Sound Innovations in Hayward,Ca.He is one of the most respected installers in the country and I really value his opinion.He works on very high end cars all the time(Lamborghini,etc...)and he let me hear several systems that blew my mind! In fact,the next big purchase for my Smart will be an Audison Bit One!! I am a musician and am very serious about sound quality.I really wanted a very true sounding system,like studio monitors,and that is what I got.It is so clean and stays clean at very high volumes!

1800wattsrms- hey where is the elemental designs stuff made? is it us built or china stuff? looks like some decent products for the $$ and all their reviews seem high.

i do dig the clear box, thats some style.

how much heat will that acrylic take? i have thought about making a clear engine cover

It's built in Iowa. Yup, Iowa.

Not sure how much heat the acrylic could take. A clear engine cover would look kick ass!

This thread got me wondering just how loud my system is,so I borrowed a db meter from a friend to find out.I turned the system up to where I listen to it when I want a full-on concert experience and it measured 108db!!!!!!! That was without really pushing the system!
