Being the cheap SOB that I am, the only adder to my Pure was A/C and metallic paint. That being said I have been scraping by listening to my iphone as my primary audio source for the last two months.
I had grand plans for new set up, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I have sitting a nice Pioneer CD unit and iPod interface unit. I even have the correct faceplate kit from Germany. Grand plans to add a second set of speakers too!
Since I haven't had the time to get around to find a decent installer and be without the car, I caved and bought a Smart radio/cd on ebay this weekend.
It arrived yesterday and I installed it last night. I now officially have tunes in my Silver BB (not silver bullet). All and all the whole installation took 9 minutes. I popped off the button plate, removed the screw, pulled the dash cover thing off, clip one zip tie to free up the radio harness, plugged it all in and then put it all back.
From quiet to semi decent sounds........ 9 minutes!
