Kenwood DNX 7140 Ipod connection doesn't work

My dealer installed the DNX 7140 before the car was delivered. Everything works except the iPod connection. When I switch to iPod (with one connected) it reads "disconnected." I can turn the iPod on and can hear the music. Same thing with two different iPods, an iPod video and an iPod Touch. iPod won't charge either. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? Thanks, Joel

Have you called the dealer? Maybe they can recommend someone near you top pay them so you dont have to go back to Tulsa/KC for them to look at?

Problem solved. Along with the ipod cable there are two USB cables, one male and one female, for file transfers and upgrades. To get the iPod cable to work, you plug the two USB cables together. Too bad there was no mention of this anywhere in the manual. Joel
