Microphone location with aftermarket BT headunits

Please post you Mics locations. Pros, cons what is working, what is not. This might help a lot of people who just installing their headunits.

I'm using Pioneer 8000BT with built in Bluetooth. After trying several locations, including inside of overhead console I found that this one works best for me. I did not have a single complain about sound quality and I wanted something more or less stealth. Upper steering console was removed and two holes drilled. Microphone is attached by a zip tie.

I put my Parrot microphone in the right cubby, works fine for me there, no drilling, just used the clip that came with the kit -
