mp3 phone/iphone question

If you have an iphone or similar phone with mp3 capabilities, and if you get an incoming phone call while playing music via AUX, does the phone go thru the smart radio when answering it? (I'm shopping for a new phone and considering options!)

If you are listening to your iPhone through the AUX jack the iPhone will ring through the stereo, and depending on your ringer volume it can be quite loud, but the call audio goes through the iPhone. I use a Bluetooth headset and it works well.

Get a Parrot kit. It allows you to take calls through the radio like a factory phone would, mutes the radio and works really well. I have them in 2 of my cars including my Smart. They run about $95 shipped on ebay for my model, the CK3000 but there are fancier models for example that let you play MP3's via BT to the radio. Search Parrot on the forum.
