I haven't logged in for a LONG time, but I had a bunch of PM's and noticed that my thread was referenced a few different places... I guess the original pics got removed so I will repost them again...

To answer a few questions that people have PMed about if you still need answers:

Only thing that I cut for the rears was the plastic, just used some dynamat under it to control sound a little.

Rear spacers are MDF..

The fabric for the rears is just speaker box carpet...can be ordered from crutchfield...

The fabric for the dash was just from a local store, I bought like 7-8 different ones and tried them all out to see what I liked best. I did use MDF for the surround and added batting for a padded look.

Here are the pictures again (not sure why they are no longer in first post):

Cory1000, or anyone, how did you wire the rear speakers? just off the door speakers, or to the new head unit? What if you keep the original head unit?

Not sure he's on the forum anymore. The photo of the connector shows how he wired the rear speakers from the two front speakers on the stock radio 9.

yes, and replied already...but ill post here...

You cant control the fade from front to rear with stock HU, it only had outputs for front..I used aftermarket HU so I didnt have that issue...

the box is the wire harness adapter that I plugged into the car to install my aftermarket stereo with ..
