brian - your thread on the b-quiet install was actually what made me want to do sound dampening. I plan to do the pillars like you, but will try to do that myself one of these days.
tbone-I'm glad you were motivated to do it. Quiet smarts are Awesome. Particularly in the rain, with nothing coming through the floor.

I think you've already killed 95% of the noise with the VB-3 and completely covered doors, so the pillars might not be too noticable (unless you're hearing engine resonance and more wheel-thump than you hear in the front). But hey, why not, and they're the easiest part of the car to do.

Yes, the quiet car is wonderful....Sometimes, I am unsure if I want to listen to my new audio system or just drive and listen to the quiet

Can someone calm me down?

OK, I'm in a near panic
I've got on hand my 8120, the installation kit and wiring harness from 4smartcar.com, and have an appointment to have both them and my Area 451 cruise control installed on Tuesday. I'm wishing now that I'd also sprung for a(nother) speaker upgrade. Well, that's for another day.

My panic? I just discovered I need an antenna adaptor???
There's just no way I can order one and have it delivered before Tuesday. Is this an item a professional installer might have in stock? Please say yes!
