One more stubby antenna option

Pros:
1) 3" long
2) coil type, not just a machined piece
3) matches factory matte plastic and base diameter perfectly

Cons:
1) expensive ~$50 shipped
2) it's a stubby -- will lose the weak stations

What is it? -- aftermarket accessory for the Honda Fit from JDM tuner Spoon.

How do you get one? Google "Fit Spoon antenna." Got mine from:

Mine looks identical to that one except for a slight fluted bottom that actually fits better on the "ball". it cost me 7 bucks off of ebay shipped!

I'd go for aesthetic over function. I use the Dodge Avenger one and some station reception are poor, but I can get most of the stations with my iPhone anyway.

the only reason I have FM is to run my sat radio into the system.... actually having ANY antenna is useless for that. In my other car I took the antenna totally off and now have great sat radio minus interference of terrestrial radio

No comparison on the aesthetics though.

IMO the Dodge one is uglier than factory -- wouldn't put it on my car at any price.

The Ebay one is a machined post right? -- with performance only slightly better than no antenna at all.

This one is plastic with an internal coil -- gives up some performance to a "mast" type but works amazingly well for a 3" antenna.

The one I recieved from Dodge is not like the pictured one and is flat black with no exposed wire. Fit right and the price was right at under 10 dollars.
