polk speaker noise/vibration

I installed polk door speaker a while back and now noticing some noise/vibration from the door panels. If I apply pressure to the speaker grid, the noise seams to goes away. Any tips on how to get rid of this noise/vibration? thx..

Maybe your speaker is loose, if it stops when you press onto the speaker.

I remember when tightening the speakers it was not 'torque tight'. Maybe I will need to use beefier skews so it will fit fighter to the door panel. I was thinking of getting the 'dynamat speaker kit'. Speaker Kit ....Anyone have any luck with them?

Is it possible you may have overtightened the speaker when you installed it and stripped the hole? That would have resulted in a loosened screw, allowing excess vibration.

Yes, I remember of over tightening some of the screws. Those thin 'square' metal nuts seem to strip easily.
