question about dash kits

I just installed my 2-din in-Dash DVD player with the American International kit and realized the Smarts dash is curved a little bit so the kit leaves a little gap on the left and right side due to the curve in the Dash. Was wondering if they make a kit that conforms better to the Smarts dash or If I just have to get creative to make it look slick?

You may also want to try Millonbuy.com, I got my radio, the AI dash kit, the AI wiring harness, antenna adapter, the whole shebang and pricing was great!

Maybe I'm just not picky, but I'm failing to see what you don't like about that install. I used the kit from 4smartcars.com and I like the way it came out, but as I said, I don't see the issue with yours.

Not only am I non-sophisticated when it comes to what looks good in the dash, but I'm a little lame at posting pictures too. They look great on my computer, but trying to get them the right size for here is hopeless.
