Radio 9 subwoofer wire?

Hello to all,
I used to have a radio 9 (single disc player). Upgrade to Pioneer F90bt with polk db6501 component. Now I just receive my JL subwoofer. I want to installed it into the factory wire. I think it is under the dash.

Anyhow, where can I find the wire that connect to the factory subwoofer wire? What does it look like? Hope everybody can help. Thanks in advance

The stock hookup is under the driver seat.... and from what I understand it only pulls from the feed to the doors or tweeters... It sounds like you have a very nice setup going in. You'll need an amp hookup for the sub under the dash. Post pics when it's all done.

This wire is under the dash where I am going to mount the subwoofer. Is this the subwoofer wire? If not, what is this wire for?

At the risk of getting in over my head here, the stock subwoofer connection from the Radio 9 or 10 is under the drivers seat, not in the dash. Won't work with your new radio setup. Instructions with your new radio should show how to connect to a separate amp which will then drive your subwoofer. Have no idea what that wire in the last photo is.

You will need an Amp to power that woofer. Factory wiring will not do you any good. People who sold you the subwoofer, should warned you that you would need to spend at least another $300 to use it.

+1 With that nice of a head unit and sub you need to use an amp.

The wires you had a pic of I believe are the hookups for the stock tweeters if you had them... but don't use those... run your own and use an amp.

I just installed two aftermarket tweeters to my radio-9. Your second pic appears to be the tweeter connector (---two wires, a black and yellow colored plastic MXG connector--found on both driver and passenger side, although the wire colors are different).

Your first pic (...driver's side, I presume?) appears to be a different style connector, and more than two wires, if I'm seeing the photo properly. If that's the case, it isn't a tweeter connector.

The passenger tweeter wire is taped to the loom directly under the rear of the glove box and is easily accessable. The driver's side tweeter connector is taped to the loom above and to the rear of the fuse box. Drop the fuse box and you can see it dangling from the loom.
