Replacement Harness for Smart Premium Radio

Greetings!

We picked up our metallic blue Cabrio one month ago and love it. The car has a dealer-installed GPS system that replaces the Smart premium radio that came installed. The dealer (quite reasonably, we thought) offered us the Smart premium radio that was removed from the car when the GPS was installed. This started me thinking that the radio, with 6 disc changer, would be a great addition on a boat that we own. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement electrical harness that I could then wire from the radio into our boat's electrical and speaker system? I have no idea whether the plugs from the bag of the radio are standard.

Here's the wiring arrangement for the connections at the back: Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia It's the 999cc Fortwo illustration.

An installer may be able to rig something up; if not, you'll probably need to get the two lower connectors from a smart dealer.

From what I've read on this forum, the connector is rather standard. You could probably get the connector from any good car audio shop.

...And possibly cheaper from a VW dealer or salvage yard; I may be wrong but I think the plugs are the same ones that VW/Porsche/Audi use in their cars.

just get a reverse VW harness. repin it and you are good to go.
