Respectfully disagree. For news and talk, I simply go to the local NPR. For music, I have MP3 and HD Radio in my smart and Sirius in my other car. I went this route for diversity between the two cars, but I miss the Sirius in the smart. The variety of music can't be beat on Sirius -- you simply won't be able to get that much variety on an iPod. (Not that it isn't possible, but most people won't invest that much time and money).
While you can get Sirius through the radio 10, for best quality, get a stand alone system. The radio 10 simply sucks and the Sirius broadcast is CD quality. You'll take a step down in fidelity by broadcasting it over plain vanilla FM.
