There you are Putzie, if you are going to do it, do it right, that's what we say this side of the pond.

Garage
Went in on Saturday, passenger door, door sill and rear arch to be resprayed, no need for new panels as they were only slightly scraped, so should get it back for the weekend, but with all the snow up here in Sheffield, they can keep it for a while as i won't be driving it anyway.

I bought the box years ago at Thoresby Hall Sunday Market with crappy 10 inch subs and it stood in my garage for years until I got the smart, but the box was too deep so the bootlid would'nt shut, so I measured the space and found that the Sony Explod 10 inch subs would fit with the cut down box, the box is ported towards the passenger compartment so it lets the air out so you get some nice bass, as there is not a lot of room in the boot to get the best sound.
I never need the space in the boot anyway, the same as you, if I need to carry stuff, I take the big car.

I'm using a single 10" bandpass woofer that leaves a bit of room and sounds just right for the Smaaht.

I got this for $41

PLQB10 - 10'' 500 Watt Bandpass Pyleaudio.com ::: Your source for Car Audio, Mobile Video, Neon Lighting

This would fit a little less tight..

PLQB8 - 8'' 400 Watt Bandpass Pyleaudio.com ::: Your source for Car Audio, Mobile Video, Neon Lighting

is far too bulky for a roadster and needs to be really shallow for either behind the seat or in the boot , quite like the look of this one , if anyone has one let us know if its any good?
10" Low Profile Amplified Subwoofer with Remote Level Control
