yep you are right. just signal going to the tweets in the dash and if u have a sub same thing. there is a small cap on the tweets glued to the magnet.

Replaced head unit with Kenwood KDC MP738U, Placed Boss TW 15 Tweeters in "A" pillars, Polk DB 651's in Door's. Now I will see if I need a Sub!!! Mostly listen to new and old rock. Really don't need that much bass. Kenwood head was a great buy, got it on Amazon.com for under $99. Has USB connection for I pod, will not syn with gen 1- I pod!! not same software. Tweeter are also great buy from Amazon sale $17, Very good high's.Used double Din face plate, head unit on top, scan gauge in bottom. ounted Sirius Sat unit in left side of steering wheel shelf on back wall, out of the way and can be viewed by driver thru the streering wheel. Use remote to change programs, and modes!! One note with USB port can use thumb drive for mp3's and add JPEG's to the unit, Picture downloading.
