I see the inputs avail at the subwoofer plug from the factory 10 radio give you a left speaker + and - and a right tweeter + and - ; do you think its ok to use the tweeter source as a sub input for one side? Or would I be better off bridging the one left speaker into both inputs? I'm concerned that the tweeter source might just have high frequency outputs!

I am not 100% sure of your question, but assuming that sub has a single speaker level input, I would just grab one of the tweeter outputs and use that alone. Do not bridge the outputs from the head unit. Bridging outputs on an amplifier is generally acceptable if so rated, but for the factory radio I don't think is a good idea.
The tweeter connections should be full-range. The tweeters themselves have a passive crossover attached to them to filter out the low stuff.

OK, yeah... I knew my question wasn't worded the best... but I think you nailed it anyway... the high-level input on the sub actually has a left and right channel input... I'll use the left speaker for the left input and the right tweeter for the right input... I was unsure if that signal was full-range or not... but if the cross-over is on the speaker, then I'm good to go!

That is correct doogster. As a side-note, the Blk/Gry is 12V switched by the ignition and the Blk is 12v switched by the radio. Use the Blk to power your sub.

i would recommend to just a line level converter for signal to a sub. high level in works ok but you will get a better sound from a low level signal going to an amp that is powering a sub. it is a little more money but in the end its better.

In and of itself, that is true. However, if he is sticking with the factory head unit like I have done for now, the $25 investment for a line converter is a waste of money....assuming the amp has speaker-level inputs.
Believe me, with this head unit, even the most discerning ear would be unable to detect a difference between "with a converter" and "without".
Start talking about a high quality aftermarket unit, then things change.

yeah... the subwoofer amp has high level inputs... I'm sure that will be fine. :-)
