A local company makes these to match your Smart. Smart Center of Lynnfiled had this one on display.

I like that other one that the one vendor on the site has. Forgot the name, but it looks way better and sets up to be way bigger. Queen size bed I think.

I think you're probably talking about the "Time Out" camping trailer that Donnyonee recently bought. A friend that I work with has one of the "Little Guy" camping trailers and really loves it.............and he's a BIG guy, which is 'kinda surprising, because you wouldn't think he would have enough room in such a little trailer. I just wonder about how good of an idea it is to be pulling ANY kind of trailer behind the smart. I know a lot of folks have done it for a quite awhile, and it seems to be alright, but it's such a small engine in the smart, and it's already pulling (in my case) about 2300+ lbs. when loaded with me, my wife, and a weekend worth of "stuff!" BTW, I REALLY like the looks of the trailer posted above at smartcenter of Lynnfield!! That would look great behind my smartie! I could even get some small decals to match mine!

The TimeOut is an excellent camper. They've been pulled behind large-displacement motorcycles for years - that's the market they were originally designed for. I've seen 'em (and slept in one, even) at Goldwing rallies for nigh on a decade now.

Really, any camper or cargo trailer from the motorcycle world would be no problem behind a Smart. I used to tow a Bushtec Turbo trailer behind my Goldwing for hauling tools (when I was working) or camping gear (when SWMBO and I were vacationing) with no trouble; the only time you knew it was there was when you pulled up to the gas pump or tried to stop *really* short. I may just get another one to tow behind the Cabrio, one of these days...

Are they for sale ? If so that is good news for all who have a trailer hitch and was told your warranty is now void.

SmartDigger - no need to worry (unless you really mess things up when you install it, or burn out the clutches trying to tow your 25' cabin cruiser to the beach) - trailer hitches do NOT void the warranty...
