Harbor freight tag-along

As of this morning I see that Harbor Freight has the TAG-ALONG trailer listed for sale again. It's only available in stores & they say you need to check stores for availability.

78" Tag-Along Trailer - 600 Lb. Capacity

I've called my "Local Store" which is over 100 miles away. They don't have any. They said that there are only 4 in the warehouse and, since they're a small store, they probably won't get any. I might try calling the manager later & see if he can order me one or something.

Maybe it's the tires? If you read the reviews there are people towing them a lot faster than that. Probably a CYA but you never know... I'll still buy one if I can find one.

I just looked at 12" trailer wheel/tire combos on the HF website. Of the 3 I found, all of which were 6 ply rated tires, 2 had a 55 MPH max speed listed. Nothing was said about the other one.

I couldn't find much on the 2 8" wheel/tire combos listed other than one was 2 ply rated & one was 4 ply rated.

Why would it matter, you can't take that car on the highway anyway

If I was to be able to locate one of these, is there any of you out there that already has one that could tell me the dimensions of the box it comes in? Does it have to be carried flat or can it be carried on its side or on end? If I get one I'll most likely have to carry it in the back, or on top, of my Buick Enclave. Just nice to know ahead of time what I'd be up against.

The tag-along trailer adds 16.6 cubic feet of storage space to your car, truck or motorcycle, and it's protected from the elements inside the lockable shell. Self-assisted hydraulic struts allow easy lid opening; when it’s closed, this trailer is streamlined for maximum fuel efficiency and savings. The tag-along trailer includes coupler, safety chain, wiring harness, trailer light kit, license plate holder, two keys and two additional side latches.

I know how big the trailer is when assembled. Like I asked, I want to know the dimensions of the box it comes in. You know, like the package they give you at the store. I really didn't plan to assemble it in the parking lot & then load it in the back or on top of the Buick & haul it home. Thanks.
