You could make something like this to eliminate any need of a trailer at all that way you wouldn't have the added weight.

Disclaimer.....I'M KIDDING!!! DO NOT DO THIS!

I owned a 'Trailer in a Bag' recently, and it's a super light trailer. Sure, you can assemble it, but it can be a p.i.t.a. That said, it's super light, tracks amazingly well and if you're carrying a reasonably light bike I bet the Smart can handle it. I towed the bike with my Honda Civic Si (2005) and it seemed fine, but it has double the HP of the Smart.

There is an aftermarket tow package for the smart, but I imagine with the Smart ye just want the lightest load possible. Some Harleys can weigh a lot so it depends on your bike I guess.

Ever think of riding your Harley?

Only a Harley rider would think of towing it...geez come on guys. If you are reasonable enough to be interested in a Smart I would hope you would realize motorcycles are made to ride!!

From a guy who rides....ALOT.

Peace

That red Harley would remain a far=fetched dream but hopefully, I could get one for myself in the near future.

I guess one could use it to tow scooters too.

Motion

Wasn't that one of Newton's theories? Mass in motion wants to stay in motion.Shutter to think how many more feet the Smart car would travel in a panic stop when you have all that weight pushing from behind.
