I don't have information on the tongue weight. This is simply the force it takes to hold the tounge of the loaded trailer level. It should never be negative! I'd keep it to under 100#.
Tongue weight should be around 10-15% of the total weight of the tow. Try starting with 10% and add some more weight to the tongue if the trailer fish-tails. The lightest amount of weight you can put on the tongue and still not have the trailer fish-tail is the proper tongue weight for that particular tow.

I towed a whole 100lbs for 100 miles today - never felt it back there except the trailer is still in the "working the bugs out" stage so it makes a racket due to the lack of a suspension at the moment. It bounces - leaf springs are in the near future.
You'll be happier with torsion springs than leaf springs. A bit more expensive, but they make for a much more smooth-riding trailer.
How about this? I think that may be overkill though.......
It looks a lot smaller from a different angle, doesn't it?
Rigger - I already had the leaf springs, my trailer will soon be done. A few things come first but I have been doing stuff on it little by little. Think little teardrop with a couple special added in bonuses. No oil slicks or rocket launchers.

Reason: TYPO! Arrggghhh!
Seriously, does anyone think that a 219lb bike can be hauled with a hitch and some type of bike rack type assembly or do I have to go mini trailer.
Whooo! I thought you were talking about PULLING (name of thread?) it on a trailer. While I've seen the dirt bike mounts for the hitches, I wouldn't consider it personally. That's coming from someone who actually towed the monster trailer in the first pic 35 miles each way.
