I picked up a set of LED trailer lights for my little trailer. I am now wondering if anyone thinks this would be better to use than the regular old bulbs in the old set of lights on the trailer. Total of two tail and blinker lights and two side markers. I am thinking if the old bulbs pulled too much power the fuse would pop.
The old style bulbs were prone to corrosion and the filaments breaking as trailers tend to bounce around a lot. Also trailer lights tend to be backed into things and submerged in water (boat trailers) so the LED units are the way to go. They will draw much less amps than their older counterparts.
