Members' trailers to tow their smarts?

I really don't want to flat tow. Other than the Sturgis and the Bantam trailers, has anyone bought a trailer to haul their smart around? I've seen several really great looking trailers on other sites (not necessarily smart oriented sites) but none provided a way to contact the owner or manufacturer. I've seen one with a tapered front end with an aerodynamic lip and "swoopy" fenders but have not been able to find anything like it using Google search.

I've been thinking of going a little "oversized," if there's a nice trailer that had a rack for an extra set of wheels and tires. Not kidding... I'm thinking about autocrossing the car. Wonder if the SCCA has a Z-Stock class...

Would appreciate any links, pix, pricing you can provide.

Thanks!

Joe

Not a bad looking trailer. If I ever go RVing. But I was looking myself for something like that, but also with sides to protect the car more from flyup rocks and what not. Maybe even some kind of curved part to protect the windsheild since it seems that they are always having the windows get rock chips. Might be an idea for added on to the trailer for your business. But it does look like a good simple trailer. Nice work!

to tow or to trailer behind an rv

has the loss in miles per gallon due to extra weight of trailer been a factor in choosing between towing and trailering?

The Smart Trailer USA has rock guards on the car side of the fender well. Also, while there is no front guard on the trailer, but in thousands of miles towing, we have yet to have any problem with debris hitting the car.

There are also some new options for the Smart Trailer USA like aluminum ramps and aluminum deck treads to both lighten the trailer and reduce maintenance.

Smart Trailer USA is always being improved and our customers love their trailers. And even in this lousy economy, our sales are really taking off as smart RV'ers learn about us.

Happy RV'ing to all.
