My smart with my teardrop trailer

I just finished building my teardrop trailer to be pulled by Little Bit. The entire trailer weighs less than 400 pounds. Pulls great! Here's a few pics.

The build:

Thanks for sharing those pictures! You do beautiful work! The trailer is very cute behind your car.

Which trailer hitch did you get for your car?

Thanks! I can't remember off the top of my head the name of the hitch. I got it off eBay. Very good hitch. Pretty easy to install myself. Cost about $140 including shipping.

Thanks! Yes, two can sleep it in. The inside dimensions are 4' x 8'.

Nice - Looks like you didn't do the back hatch kitchen like some teardrops? What size plywood (thickness) did you go with?

I'm still on the fence about pulling things with the fortwo. Just because you can doesn't mean you should...

BUT, if the Europeans have been doing it and there hasn't been any real indications of damage, then why not?

I like it! Looks heavier than it is actually
