Neat idea for a tow behind the Smart trailer!

Clever idea! I'm working on my own design of a trailer right now which should be done by the end of next month if I have the time. After seeing this, I thought it is neat enough to share.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this auction. I haven't seen another trailer like it so this is the only link I can provide.

Small tow behind the Smart cargo trailer

found a picture of similar type of trailer...not as neat...

Thanks Forest.

I'm thinking if it had a dark stain with more gloss on the top portion along the lines of an old Chris Craft it would look nicer. (the type of boat they sold new when jet was still in his 30's)

The builder admits in the auction its home-built and to a degree it does. Like I said above, with a few refinements it would look VERY nice IMO. Better than that Bikebuddy one I posted above - which is still very cool looking and I can't help but ask myself, "Can that trailer float?".

Can't wait to see what you get. Did you order that trailer for your chair?

...30?...I've been on the north side of 30 since "old smart" was sailing in the Santa Maria....

...back to the thread now in progress...
...the idea of the boat type trailer can be expanded to make it look like a smart car...
...way back when we made a trailer to tow behind a Honda Gold Wing that looked like the space shuttle...too cool...so...the small trailers are out there and all it will take is time and money....time and money...where did they go?

jetfuel...have time....

I've seen all different ideas for trailers.

The tiny boat is neat and when I finish my personal trailer I'm building, it's an innovative idea with some special "Smart only" additions. A lot of the stuff I'm building this from is scrap - to keep costs down. The thing I am lacking is time. I have a minute here and there but can never seem to link them together.

Could be made into a colossal R/C boat with trailer!

I saw one similar to it on eBay but it did not look as nice as the one you are showing. Perhaps it could be painted to match ones car?
