New in Nashville (towing?)

Greetings from Nashville,

My wife and I just bought our new Cabrio this weekend. (Bought it in Louisville) We are hoping to tow it behind our class c. I have read most of the Flat towing forums, so I have a pretty good idea of what i need. I am wondering if anyone in the Nashville area has had the stuff installed. There is a new dealer in Nashville but, I am gathering info. Also same basic question for the Cruise control.

Thanks

Welcome! Hope you are enjoying the new car and the forums. Can't speak to the towing issue but recently had the Area451 cruise control installed - it's operates like any other system on the car, hardly even notice it.

Hi neighbor. I installed the MDC cruise control back in March. It seems to be the easiest to install - a "plug-n-play, works great, helps the mpg and makes my 52 mile commute from M-boro much easier on my leg.

Did you make an active decision to go with the MDC vs the 451? Where did you get the MDC?

Thanks

I read dozens and dozens of posts about the 451. I also researched the latest version of the MDC, which has been installed on thousands and thousands of cars in Europe. I decided I didn't want to tinker with the wiring pin swap and I didn't want to go with a year old design. I would rather trust an experienced vendor with plug and play so yes I made the decision to get the MDC. I bought mine from SmartMadness, one of the vendors on here.

Thanks for the info Russ. I have looked at the Smart Madness website and may go with that as well.
