Thanks for your interest in the GO. Judging from the specifications listed on the Smart web site it is questionable whether a Smart Fortwo would be able to pull our trailer safely. The maximum payload of the car itself is just over 500 lbs. Our trailer weighs 840 lbs unloaded. Of course, you can
certainly consult Smart directly for their recommendations on safe towing.

HAHAHA actually what you are seeing in the background in the remnants of my summer garden. Okra, tomatoes, green beans, bell peppers and banana peppers are long gone

I'm surprised the trailer weighs that much. I have a small (16') vintage airstream with shower, refrigerator, cooktop, etc., that sleeps three. Fully loaded, with water, propane, and all my "stuff" it weighs just under 2,000 pounds. - sheureka
