Odometer

Got my fortwo this past Wednesday and have a base plae, wiring kit and tow bar on the way. Does anyone know if the odometer builds up miles when towed flat? And if so, does anyone know how to disable the odometer when towing? My first guess would be to try fuse #18.

Just got back from towing fortwo from campground, had 1097 miles when I began towing and had 1097 miles when I got home, 13 miles later. No miles where added, and I didn't pull any fuse. That's good news, I got 40.2 MPG on last tank, and 314 miles. Brad

Did you tow it just for the heck of it? If it had the same mileage before and after trip you must had taken just to keep it close to you
