Rear Cargo Deck Platform using Tow Hook Holes?

Does anyone happen to know if there is a rear cargo platform/deck available for the smart?.. Seem to recall seeing one somewhere on a Smart that used the tow hook holes, but can't find anything on the web/forums..

Basically looking for something similar to the Smart rear bike carriers but with only a platform attached via the tow holes.. don't need much load capacity, just an economical place/means to strap a few wakeboards other than the roof or costly rear ski/board carriers that block rear door/window access..

something similar to the hitch type platforms:

Try this DIY Thread
Bike Rack - Porting Thule

It might work for boards too

This seller sold them at one point on ebay:

..wound up going with a "bolt-on" option for my rear platform app.. basically went with the Curt trailer hitch and a 20"x36" ATV type Cargo Carrier --got both from etrailer.com for under $300..

I'm no engineer, but that thing has got to have a bunch of bounce in it. Scary.

HEY! I've run over plenty of already run over Possum and Armadillos with my hitch and it cleared.....most of the time.

jnonny - How much does that weigh? (just the tray and receiver, I already know the hitch weight itself) I saw one in Northern Tool the other day that was all aluminum but it was pricey.

That looks nice, a box in there and I finally would have a solution for going to the grocery store!!! (besides buying less - country living doesn't afford one the luxury of buying light, I'm 20 miles from the nearest grocery store)

..might have trouble clearing a raccoon that's been eating well, but plenty of room for a few squirrels..

Bum-bling, the platform and receiver mount had a shipping weight of 35lbs, and the trailer hitch 29lbs.. I believe the larger aluminum platforms are around 35lbs as well..
