Here is a mini Clubman Airstream trailer design; article at Gizmag. Could something similar be done for the Smart Fortwo?

That would be nice but, they will never get the weight down low enough.

We (Smart owners) are limited to the "LeesureLite" (great trailer) category.
Remember it's not just the weight of the trailer, it's the trailer weight PLUS all of the stuff we take with us.

Example: Although "Time out" is a very nice trailer it's still 350-400lbs empty. Leesurelite is 255lbs. I'm considering purchasing the Leesurelite.

There are more features but I don't have any vested interest in the company nor do I wish to give the impression that I do.

I think perhaps one could create a version that is half as big as the Mini Clubman and call it the Micro Clubman? Perhaps it would have just enough room for one or two people to sleep on a air mattress on the 'floor' of it and have just enough storage for essentials? Just thinking out loud.
