Thinking [trailer hitch]

About making a hitch for my Cabrio, and towing the same trailer I have for my Harley.

Ought to be different.

Why make a hitch when you can buy?

the trailer takes a special hitch, it's not a standard receiver size.

I'd go with a standard Smart reciever and have a custom insert made. That way you would have options in the future.

Nice looking trailer! Single wheel in the back??

I second what jim just said. Custom fab a 1 1/4" receiver for the Smart hitch. Not only a cheaper solution, but you won't be limited to just that type of trailer if you decide on something different later on.

Yep Single wheel, it's an N-Line One wheeled trailers, hitches, cooler racks for motorcycles by N-LINE trailers design for bikes, it pulls behind my bike and you don't even know its there. Thought since I already had it it would also work for the Smart; it only weighs like 80 lbs.
