I have the same trailer. It will need a paint job to make it match better. I had the same thought of useing a car top. I use my trailer to haul a walk-behind mower, So, The box will need to be removable. Also, as posted before, the trailer needs to be about 15 inches ( bottom of tong to ground) for it to sit level like shown in the pic.
