Sheureca. Looks like a good choice. I'm sure the Torflex will be fine.

Here are some cargo MC trailers to add to our list.

That'll be fine Sheureka. You'll be A-OK unless your chair weighs in at another 300lbs or so on top of the trailer weight which I highly doubt (I've loaded my share onto airplanes for passengers). Can't wait to see a pic of your rig.

Most of the time I'll be hauling the Jazzy - it weighs about 225 pounds and my little travel wheelchair weighs about 175 pounds. My big 4-wheeler weighs almost 280 pounds but I probably won't be hauling it very often. It's really an outdoor scooter - with a turning radius of 65" I can't exactly use it in the grocery store. But it's the only way I can go fishing or take the dog out to the river to run and I really miss being able to do those things. - sheureka

I've heard it's 100 pounds, but I'd sure try to keep it lower than that. - sheureka

Here's some more info that shows the sales web site and yet another trailer. Not smartable I'm afraid, but I do hear folks towing 1000 lbs with theirs in europe. YUPPIE WAGON ENCLOSED TRAILER PULLS EASY IN A REAR RAMP OR SWING OPEN DOOR Any way folks with smarts own other vehicles too.
FLASH!! Found the source for yet another cool and lightweight trailer. It is sold through one of the smart accessory dealers, but here is the makers site motorcycle luggage teailer check out all of the other stuff they have. Nothing like going to the source to maybe save a few bucks too.
I updated this yesterday but it didn't show as new, so, in the meantime I found ANOTHER trailer that I am not sure of. Tow-N-Stow trailer and storage unit - stores cargo, itself and a whole lot more. My first reaction was, neat design, but then I asked myself, "What do I do with the shed contents when using it as a trailer?" I guess I buy two?? LOL, these folks have hit upon a REAL money maker. AND it's all recyclable too. I didn't even ask what it costs... CHECK the one I added yesterday (above) for a trailer to put your smart on behind an RV too. ...

I think that's a really interesting design - there's one on eBay for $2495 (including shipping) and Sam's Club has it for $2549.

The makers claim that the Tow-N-Stow is watertight too, which, pretty much, gives you the license to fill it up with water and lounge in it like a mobile bathtub. Even better, you can do that while it's hooked up to a car and rolling down the highway. How cool is that?

Go from trailer...

Hmmm.... Watertight trailer?

Quick, get me a hose and a car, I've found a new way to road trip!
