Albuquerque Service (Cruise Control???)

I think I'm going to take my 2008 to Albuquerque for it's first year service and the transmission, etc., upgrades. I also have a warranty issue with the passenger seat heat not working. I'm a little over 6 hours from Albuquerque but can stay with my sister when I'm there (and bring my dog!) so it's actually more convenient than Chandler, even though it's a couple of hours farther away. But before I make that definite, I have a few questions -

1 - What does the 10,000/1 year service cost?
2 - Has anyone had problems with the dealer and aftermarket cruise (I have the Area451)?
3 - Any comments on the service department (good, bad, indifferent)?

TIA for your help - sheureka

They'll probably blame your passenger heat issue on the Area451 cruise control. Better take it off first.

The service department is Great. I have found them to be very honest and reliable and would give them a call for an answer on the cruise control.

I drove up to Albuquerque last Tuesday, and took the car in on Wednesday. They were wonderful. I forgot to bring the jumper to disconnect the cruise control, so I told them it was on there - and the service guy just laughed. They fixed the heater in my passenger seat by replacing the switch, put in the new battery, did the upgrade on the transmission, lubricated the shift lever, and put on my driver's side mud flap (I wasn't able to get it on because I don't have much use of my left arm, and there was no position I could into that I could use my right arm). Super friendly people - I'm a fan and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Very positive experience. - sheureka
