Car wash

Hey
Anyone know a good car wash place in ABQ that accepts the smart (narrow wheelbase)? Besides the manual washes..
Thanks
**Todd

Most any car wash works with the smart. There is usually only a single track. The best ones have humans inside the "tunnel" rather than brushes.

I've heard (can't verify it) of one instance where the air dryer at the end blew the service flap off a smart. Again, not verified but worth considering.

Customers have told us the Octopus Car Wash on Paseo and the other one on Eubank will take the smart. The other ones around town have the old tracks and can't let the car in. I will let you know if we hear of any other car washes that work.

I went to my regular car wash and the manager looked at the ground clearance and said "no problem." Since I'd been going there for years, I choose to believe him and the car when through just fine.

But they are SOoo easy to wash by hand. It takes me only two minutes to wash my smartie. And I can drive Aprox 80- 90 miles for the cost of a regular car wash. Thats a cool thing! I know, I know to each their own. LOL!!
