Hello New Mexico,
I have been driving around Albuquerque for three weeks in my Yellow and Black Passion putting on 1000 miles, as of today, and I haven't seen another Smart on the road. Where are you all hiding? Where are you all from?

This car sure gets a lot of attention. I get stopped everywhere I go with people wanting to find out what it is. I suggested to the Smart Center of Albuquerque that they should give a pack of Windex Wipes with each car sold, so you can wipe off all the nose and hand prints from the windows each time you park.

When I went in for my test drive, I brought my wife, so she went for a test drive also - and ordered hers that day!!

We are delivering #30 today...you should be seeing more smarts all over the place!

There are 2 for sale at the D&B used car lot on Menaul and Vassar (I work nearby). Looks like a red/black and a yellow/silver but I haven't stopped by since they're probably gouging. The DDE says Feb-Apr 09 for my recent confirmation but I did stop by to throw my name in the hat in the event there are any abandoned smarties. With 30 scheduled today, maybe ...

I'm in a white one, I work on KAFB in ABQ. I've seen one more white smart and a blue one on base.

I have some friends that work on base and have seen a white smart. Were you at the Mountain Run plaza on Tuesday night? There was a white/black one in the main parking lot, I was parked out back.

When did you pick yours up? How many miles have you gone? How far is your commute?

Nope that must have been the other white one I saw on base.

I picked mine up on 3/29. I have 700-some miles on it now. My commute is about 20 miles one way, I am at the butt-end of the air force base. And man I got blown around today! I think I got sand on me that was blown in from Gallup..

I stopped by the D&B lot today. The Yellow and Silver is not a Smart but an electric that sure looks like a Smart. The Red and Black is listed for $22,500, definetly high priced.

The electric says it will do 45 MPH and that it travels 75 miles, and that it takes 6 hours to recharge. It was priced at $8900

The wind was blowing today. I drove home on Menaul to stay off the freeway in the wind. I'm still amazed by how many people will take my picture with their cell phone while I'm driving around town. Have you had that happen to you?
