Tuning required for high(er) altitude?? From CA to ABQ ...

Hi all - I'm new to the Albuquerque area, and I'm wondering if anything special needs to be done to tune for the altitude change from sea level (SJ CA) to 5K+ ft (ABQ). Seems like my Smart Passion (black/black, Uptown area) is running a bit rough since it was driven off the moving van ... probably the fact that the AC is almost constantly on isn't helping.

I've heard rumors of a firmware update that 'smoothes' the shifting, but the ABQ dealership's mechanic that I spoke with knew nothing about it ...

Thanks! Michael

With today's technology, the computer and the sensors will adjust the fuel injection to the difference in altitude and overall enviroment.

I regularly drive over Donner Summit, 7200 ft elevation and noticed an improvement when I added the scoop on the side. I also added an exhaust and an air filter. they all helped.
