4th of July Parade

I will have my car in the Stilwell, KS 4th of July parade. Stilwell is in southern Johnson County by the Miami County line. The parade starts at 6:00pm and there is no need to preregister and no cost for registration. If you want to be entered just show up at 5:00pm and your in. Registration is at the Methodist church on 193rd and Metcalf. For those that want to attend we can meet somewhere around 4:30 to make sure we are all together before registration. I will be getting simple littel antenna flags for the cars so if you plan on attending please RSVP so I know how many to order. You can decorate your car if you would like but it is not required.

Directions the registration point:
If you are coming from the north - Take US 69 S to 179th Street exit. Turn left onto 179th street and go to Metcalf Avenue. Turn right onto Metcalf. Drive south to 193rd Street and turn left.

If you are coming from the south - Take US 69 N to 199th Street exit. Turn right onto 199th Street and go to Metcalf Avenue. Turn left onto Metcalf. Drive north to 193rd Street and turn right. Hope to see some of you all.

Well, rats. I was expecting the parade to be in the morning! The time does not work for me at all. :-( Looks like I will not be there. Know of any other parades???

We'll see if we can make it. Neighbors wanted to go to Corporate Woods fireworks display. Let you know.

I've been asked to drive my Red Cabrio in the Parkville Parade on the 4th in the AM. I thought it be something to have a Blue and White one right in there with me. Anyone interested reply and I'll hook you up with the folks that asked me? Parade form at 9a at 45 and 9 in will run through old parkville downtown starting at 10a.

Thanks Andy, for the fun Stilwell Ks. Parade, and fireworks display. Everybody loved the Smart cars!!! They all yelled SMART car... SMART car...SMART car... Here are some photos of the event:
