April Activity

Greetings All -- As previously discussed, and especially now that I have some friendly assistance stemming from the Birthday Party at smart Center Merriam today, planning for the April activity in Topeka is underway.

In looking at the calendar it looks as though Saturday April 18th is the best bet, so as not to conflict with any other important April activities. ;-)

Karen, we'll be there. I was typing this yesterday, and the power went off. Lets us know the time and place. Its my wife's birthday the 18th too.

Does the trip to Topeka include a visit to BoBo's drive-in? Best hamburgers, onion rings and apple pie in the state. Heard about it on Dinner's, Dives and Drive-ins on the Food Network. We've driven out there several times and its great.

BoBo's drive-in, I hear, has great chili dogs, apple pie, and older sexy women who serve you in the car. I don''t know about the last part. Word of mouth from a friend who use to live in Topeka.

Ok guys, some of you know that I'm a double agent or spy, and since I don't want to open a new thread to share this, and because is going to be in this month, here it is:
On the 19th (a day after the Topeka meeting) or the 26th (the date still undecided) the Group Wichita Kansas Smarties will have their first reunion most likely in El Dorado, KS.
I think all of us are Open Minded as Smart suggest, so I think anyone who wants can go to any or both gatherings (we're planning so). I'll keep you posted when the exact day is decided.
Ok, sorry for the off topic now let's continue planning the Topeka thing.

El Dorado is about 152 miles south. About a 2 hour drive. Who's all going to that too?

Karen, any plans yet? Tell Andy if you need any help! He can't WAIT to see the "older sexy women who serve you in the car" at BoBo's!!

ALSRAC, man, I wish I could go to El Dorado, too, but I can't. You will just have to represent ALL of us! Guess that goes with the job when you're a double agent!

Smark, since it's your wife's birthday, I think she should bring cake for us! Ha! Actually, if I were cleverer, I would make a bunch of (Smart) Cupcakes, that spelled out Happy Birthday. But I would probably wind up poisoning everyone and that would mean fewer members, so I won't.

So, fellow travelers, when and where shall we meet?
