Lots of plans, not enough time in the day!

We're going to start at the Capitol Building as a really obvious landmark for y'all to know you're in the right place ;-) -- plus a little photo op. I'm going to have to scope out the best side to meet up on, 'cause the front has scaffolding for it's face-lift, and the farmer's market will be in full swing by then.

I was thinking of a different joint for lunch, but we'll go to Bobo's Drive-In. Wouldn't want to disappoint any of you...

Start time ... I'm thinking 10:30 a.m. to meet up/take pics at the Capitol, so we're heading over to lunch around 11:00?? Any druthers from the rest of you, whose turn it is to drive the distances to get here from there??

10:30 is good for us. I like the idea of the photo session at the Capitol Building, unfortunately as Karen said right now is undergoing a major face-lift, hopefully we can find a side to park together and have a group picture with the cars and the owners for the first time.
We'll just have to drive 50 miles to get there.

BTW, the Wichita Smarties gathering will be the 26th at 2pm in El Dorado, KS, just in case somebody wants to join us.
Terry, don't worry you can't go, I'll post pictures for you.

Gang,

Can we have an Easter Egg Hunt at the Capitol???? I hear Andy has a Bunny suit that he can wear!

What's that, Andy?

<unintelligible but urgent whispering>

OH!! It's THAT kind of 'bunny' suit... Well, never mind then...

In a dream, I imagined all of us driving our Smarts on a beautiful green field, playing polo with what appeared to be Easter eggs.

<long pause>

Yes, I have a very active imaginary life. And it may not help that I grew up (watch it!) in the 70's.

But all seriousness aside, anyone got any ideas for rendezvous sites, a timetable, etc?

Farrrrout man!
Terry

10:30 a.m., since ALSRAC was the only one who voted ;-)
-- East side of the Capitol building (Polk St., one way going North)--

Day includes eating at Buddy's Drive-In, a drive through Gage Park/Rose Gardens with a stop at the Carousel, and several other points of interest, the order of which I shall share with y'all after conferring with my friendly partners-in-crime.

Finishing up by 4:00 p.m., as I have a shindig I have to go to with my honey that evening.

We will see you 10:30. What's the best exit we get off, to the capitol? Coming from the east on I70.

Could we meet someplace near the West side of I435/I70. I was going to go up that way. I just off the Highway. Is there a shopping center around there????? We would have to leave there about 9:30 there. Meet at 9:00 or 9:15????? Maybe meet at Great wolf lodge, and wagon trail up there???? Talk to me!!!!
