The Legends is a great place to rendezvous, assuming we pick a *spot* as the place is enormous! (Nebraska Furniture Mart, that is.)
This is off-topic but may it may save your life! Inside NFM, they sell See's Candies. Let me give you a heartfelt recommendation for them! I gave my ----- of a mother-in-law some 3 weeks ago, and it TAMED her!! Wow, complete change in personality! Since then, she's even announced she's getting married (which removes MY name from the duty roster for household chores!)! So, anyone with monsters in their life, take heed! See's is amazing! Must have drugs in it!
9:30 sounds good.
SOUND OFF KIDS! Who else is going? More is better.
Funny ... my mother-in-law used to send me a 2-lb. box a couple of times a year ... what exactly are you telling me ... ;-P
As per directions -- if you are coming from the East, you'll want to get off of the toll road at the first Topeka exit, #183 (at the toll plaza), to travel on I-70 W, then take exit #362C (10th Ave/Madison St.). You'll want to stay in the right-hand of the two left-turn lanes, as you'll be making a right turn off of 10th shortly thereafter. Travel through 4? traffic lights and take a Right on Jackson (one-way street going North, on the East side of the Capitol building)
If you are coming on I-70 from the West, take the 8th St. exit (sorry, haven't driven that direction lately to know the number). The exit ramp feeds into a one-way street (Monroe) and a traffic light at 8th. As soon as you can, get into the far right lane so that you can turn right at the light on 10th, stay in the right lane, travel two blocks and take a right onto the afore-mentioned one-way street (Jackson)..
Loads of stuff on tap for y'all, depending on the weather and the mood of the crowd. Looks like they took some of the rain out of the forecast, so should be a beautiful smart kind of day!!

One of the yes is from someone not on the forum and the other is from one that I knew as a confirmation. Please if you are planing to join us on the wagon train please let us know. Smark and I will be at Nebraska Furniture Mart by 9:15am and leaving by 9:30am. Here are the members that I know right know that will be coming from KC....
