August trip to St. Louis

Anyway, back to the item at hand......looks like it's a 'done deal' on this end. With the meeting time for lunch at Applebees at 11:30am, we should be able to make that AND make it to KC in time for the Royals game at 6:10pm.

WOO HOO!!!! We can't wait! Oh crap! I just had a frightening thought.....am I going to have to remove my "Chicago Cubs" stickers off "Lil Panda" before coming to St Louis? Are there Cardinal fans in attendance at this 'meet'???

Let's start getting a head count for the trip to St Louis. It looks as though it is going to be a rather large gathering. Bringing people from IN, IL, MO, and KS. We will be meeting smark who will be going the night before and fts1966 who will be going in early that morning. Let's set up a wagon train between KC and St Louis.

For those of you who don't know, we are dealing with Karen's family (dad) and his health, financial and emotional issues. There is simply too much going on for me to commit. So I won't.

If a miracle occurs, I'll let you know. But <sob!> don't plan on me going.

Not true!!!

You most certainly ARE! That's how you show them you love them! I'd strongly recommend throwing lots of shoes (sneakers, not cowboy boots), Tupperware containers, playground balls, broccoli and sofa cushions at him!

BTW, don't throw things at Momma Panda; she bruises easily. Poppa however, has REAL TOUGH, THICK skin! See for yourself!
