December and January Activities!

Sorry to miss this one yet again. I will be in KC but with my other "dumb" car and too many errands to get done in the short time I'm up there - have to return to Columbia by early afternoon, grrrrrr. I hope to do better in Jan though.

I want to get this straight! We are meeting at he chruch behind Hallmark Cards right. In the Hallmark parking lot right! The corporate entrance. We are meeting there, at 11:00 right? Tool around Liberty memorial, Union station, even maybe the Power and Light area, on the way. Then wagon train to Parkville, and be there at 12:00 right? Then eat lunch someplace up there, right? Then tool around Parkville.

This is coming together nicely! The only issue I have is not knowing where the church is! If I can get that info, I will also join you downtown for the "cruise."

Thanks everyone for the birthday sediments! I am almost completely sober now!

Not to frighten anyone, but there is a high probability that my wife (Karen) will actually be with me Saturday FOR THE WHOLE TIME! This will be (almost) a First for her at a SmartCar Club event. She's kinda shy, so I humbly request when you meet her, that you give her as much crap as you possibly can! This will surely make her feel welcome and like she is 'one of the gang.'

Once again I will *try* to get the local media interested in us. If this fails, I will resort to explosives. :smhair: (Note to moderators, FBI, ATF, NSA, HSA and other law enforcement: this is HUMOR. Relax!)

Seriously, I think I speak for everyone when I say, Lula, we're all pullin' for ya! In no time you're gonna have another wonderful, photogenic, tax deduction! Be sure to keep us advised, especially if there is anything we can do to help (like getting your husband out of the way!).

Given the remaining time till our meeting, I will probably NOT get tons of emails sent to the folks not on the forum. I'll do what I can but my focus will be more on the January Tech meeting.

Andy , I heard ya on the festive decor. Likewise. If not, don't sweat it.

I love it when everyone is energized! Folks, we have the beginnings of a GREAT club!! Thank you everyone for your help!

Hey guys,

I just found out I over-booked myself and made another commitment over a month ago, and can't/shouldn't make an excuse to join the ride to Parkville. Great town! You will have so much fun. And if you need to do holiday shopping-they have great stores! Maybe in January I can finally show up and we can demo how our smarties go in the snow!

Well, darn it! We'll miss ya. Are you SURE it's not because I messed up and called Brookside Waldo? I sure felt bad and dumb about that... Normally my mistakes are better than that! Wait -- no they're not.

You'll be with us in spirit. Plus, as an ADDED bonus, we'll probably volunteer you for something since you won't be there!
