Group buys in the Kansas city area?

Was anyone planning any group buys on parts yet? Some of the venders are charging too much for there stuff. I'm sure we can order 10 exhaust directly from Doug for $225 or less.

I would be up for getting into a group buy of either Parts and Prints interior pieces, maybe pester K&N for the release of there air filter, Eibach springs, Bilstein's Brabus kit, or just any Brabus group buy.

Was this brought up at the meet today? I assume we would have to a few of the other "chapters" to get enough people involved.

I'm not sure if somebody talked about this yesterday, the main topic was the costumes, but we can talk about it in the next meeting in november.
I don't think you're wasting your time asking, I think probably nobody wants to buy something with the economy being the way it is right now.

I highly doubt that you will get them that cheap. If they are *****ing at the dealers/vendors if they sell them too cheap, I doubt they give you a deal like that without a dealers number. Especially if they knew or found out that you were going to pawn them off on the group for at cost.

My intent for participation in this or any group buy that we do is not to get a hand out or any unrealistic discounts, but to save on shipping costs as most of the items that I would like to group purchase are from vender's overseas. So what does any one want and from where, group shipping rates can be just as valuable. Let me know.
