Holiday Party

OK Everyone,

It is that time again for our December Gathering. This time we have been invited to Topeka on the 5th of December for lunch and a holiday party to follow at the house of Dale and Gay Redmond. The lunch plan has changed do to the Steak House not opening till 4:00pm. Lunch is still at 1:00pm but the location is now The Applewood BBQ and Bistro at 3310 SE 29th St. Directions to the Redmond's will be provided at lunch. The holiday party will be BYOB and bring a snack or desert of choice to share. Please everyone that can make it if you could RSVP so that we could get a head count and make arrangements at the restaurant. Hope to see all your smart faces again this time.

P.S. The Kansas City caravan will be starting from the same location at The Nebraska Furniture Mart, or we can avoid the turnpike and go up K10 and catch 40Hwy in Lawrence.

We're going to have to get off I-70, to 40 Highway to get there. Its east outside of Topeka. No off ramp to the street it's on. Sharon and I will be there, for sure. You single guys, can stop at the Cozy Corner, on the way for entertainment.

I didn't want to open a new thread, and hopefully I'm not hickjacking this one, I just wanted to share this with you guys.
Last night we took Little Lice to the Christmas Parade in town.

Getting ready:

We decided that the whole family was riding in Little Lice, so it became Smart Forfive:

During the parade we had a new perspective, we were actually in the parade, some of you know that experience, some people laughed at us, waved, took pictures, we were on tv, the local channel was transmiting the parade.
It seemed that the whole city was there:
