Don't mean to hijack the thread but I thought this was interesting. The rear wheel had a 6 inch piece of the rim missing and a couple of broken spokes. The only obvious body damage is pictured

i saw that car at the dealer yesterday. whom does it belong to? it had a
PB Steallers helmet on the antenna. i think that is the team.

Back on track of the picnic.... Not sure about the Lovely, or Talented part (Silent, well, usually) but I am afraid I can't make the picnic - I have a baby shower to attend that day - But I can ask my husband if he wants to go - he just picked up his smart 07/07/07. I guess you could say it was his lucky day....
By the way - most of the time you guys seem to be talking about pictures I never see on the threads... is it me? (ie the damaged smart from dbwill)

No worries, let's recap:

Where: Antioch Park
When: Sunday, July 26 (Hey Steve - it's not the 27th! Sorry!)
Time: I vote for 11:00 AM. If you have a different thought, sing out.
Food: Bring your own delicious, already-prepared picnic food and drinks. Share with Terry.

Steve has been scoping out the park already (thanks for the map and pic!). I say, let's just meet there. Go in the main entrance, off Antioch Road and aim for the circle drive parking lot. Look for Smarties and park together.

When we get there, we can decide where to set up shop. If it's not 250 gazillion degrees, we may want to grab a table in the Sun. If it IS 250 gazillion degrees, we may want one in the shade. And if it's an F5 tornado, we may want to set up in one of the shelter houses. Or not, whatever! Hey, if it's stormy, bring your kite!

Thanks Pure-N-Simple, sorry you are going to wash a baby that day. But c'mon! Babies are LITTLE! How long can it take?! We sincerely hope you or your husband can come! We'll try to behave. For the first 10 minutes... Oh, and as for pictures, well, mine are all shot with UV light. They are BEAUTIFUL, you just can't see 'em! Ask anybody!

That leaves just (counting) 1, 2, 3... 279 people left to hear from!

We have news about the upcoming National Smart Rally WHICH WILL BE IN KC, so you miiiiight just want to come for that...

During our meal and for a short time after, we will discuss Club Business. Then we will have a cruise. Andy is poring over satellite maps as we speak, conferring with the various government agencies and departments of transportation to select only the BEST route for our band of loonies! Knowing Andy, it should be great.

I suggest you bring something to write on in addition to your food items, as you may want to make some notes.

I e-mailed Sherry today at work. Mike and Sherry can't come. Mike is out of town. An Sherry has another engagement.
But she says, she luv's her little car big time. Maybe next time.
