Your kidding me? I mean, come on. Not trying to be rude. I'm just mad!
List+doc(640)+(service fee)399= the price you paid. Its on your darn sticker!

But yea, my sponsor is paying for my car. Or, i should say, my sponsor is donating me my car. It's all in the wording, i guess.
$645 is a "destination charge" and everybody pays the same charge no matter where you buy your car. every new car sold in US has a destination charge. it IS listed on the sticker. this is not considered a "fee".

the $399 doc fee that you pay in KC is a sham.

I called smartusa today and asked. You have to read my last post a few times to answer it correctly. You might have to read this post a few times as well to figure out that you need to read my last post!

Third Fill - 34 mpg

Third tank (2nd tank was filled at Costco in Lenexa,Kansas , 91 octane, no alcohol). The fuel indicator was at 1 bar. There were 258 miles on the clock and I re-filled it at Costco in KCMO with 91 octane until the pump shut off. This was also the first time I selected the slowest fill setting. It took 7.607 gallons, which calculates to be 33.91 mpg.

This was in mixed driving. In looking at my reduced MPG between the third tank and the previous two, I have to guess that between driving somewhat more aggressively and more city miles burned fuel a bit faster.

I installed a scangauge II today and I am sure the feedback that it provides on mileage will allow me to train myself to achieve better results.

As one who does not yet have the car yet(dirty rotten rakenfratz), and having to see yours in your drive, where is the OBD II port on the smart?

Hope to join you within 30 days or so

IF you are a missouri resident buying in another state (ks) the dealer does not collect tax that is paid at the time of registration. In Missouri you have 120 days to use your tax credit on the car you sold

I'd think with the warranty so short, the scangauge would be invaluable!

Well, since I beat the odds on delivery, perhaps I could interest you, for a low low fee, in my revealing some GUARANTEED WINNING POWERBALL numbers! (sure, they ARE last weeks, but they are GUARANTEED WINNING POWERBALL numbers!)

The ODB II plug is kinda over one's right knee.

I think the gauge would be useful. I have those functions built into my current car and like them. I normally keep a car 10 or more years so I will probably opt. for the 5 year just to be safe.

The DRR is a nice way of saying how I really feel but would be chastised for putting in print.

Try reading my posting again and again. You'll see the answer is as clear as day. Its an ahh haa moment. Anyone see it?
As far as i know, its 60 grace period on selling your old car after buying a diffent. And 30 days if you sold your old car prior to buying a different one

BOS: Is this a trick question??

Don: Oh, yes...DRR is the kindest way of saying what we feel, for sure!! I agree...there are plenty of, shall we say, ungratious ways to say how we are feeling about waiting. But it could be worse!! We could be looking at mid-summer...fall...or even 2009. So, I'm TRYING to be positive. But sometimes...DRR just HAS to be said!

:-)
